La
Jonchère has taken on an important role in the production
of the GE 90 115B engine. On this engine,
fitted to Boeing 777s, working in close partnership
with GENERAL ELECTRIC and the SNECMA, we have produced
the starter air duct.

Double
flow GE 90 115B engine: 50 tons of thrust
The
various challenges to be faced include the strict
mechanical demands and a very high level of reliability.
Our
Design Office has also worked very hard on the weight
gain. The result is a gain of several kilos on a
weight of 18 kg. Characteristics: duct with a diameter
of 6" for a thickness of only 0.8 mm.
Whether
civil or military, Dassault aircrafts widely make
use of our products. Both the FALCON and the RAFALE
ranges are fitted with 1" to 3" ball joints made
of stainless steel, Inconel or aluminium alloy.
There are almost 50 La Jonchère ball joints
on the Rafale!
The
largest manufacturers in the world have chosen LA
JONCHERE :
EADS (Airbus), Dassault, Embraer,
Eurocopter, General Electric, Microturbo,
Snecma, etc.
Prestigious ranges of aeroplanes or helicopters
benefit from La Jonchère's know-how:
Civil aeroplanes: Airbus, Boeing, Falcon, etc. Military
